Work on it.

For your first submission to be a game, it's pretty good. Just work on making less annoying visuals and better sprite movement. You should also make sure that the game isn't dead-end, because I fell in between the platforms and I couldn't get out.

Mmeh.

It was all right, I guess. But still, there has to be a way to make this game useful, like maybe adding Alpha toggling and the ability to share/save it. The crosshairs were a bad idea, and could've been replaced by circles showing where your stroke ends up. An undo button would help, too.

It's what pretty much what everybody wants in illustration software, so by the time this is perfect, it might as well be Adobe Illustrator on the Web.

2/5, I appreciate the idea, but there should be other kinds of games to make.

An idea to polish

I like the idea, but, as said in the author comments, this game will lag a lot, which is unfortunate, which makes finishing the third level impossible.

Obviously, the thing to improve would be the lag. Try calibrating it. Many games with "pretty paper"(full of debris) use it. Like this, the game runs at a very high framerate, and is forced to skip frames if performance is going down. It will look like lag, but all it will be doing is to try to preserve speed.

Physics could also work, sort of like the one in the Ball Revamped series.

4/5, improvement please.

Kwing responds:

The third level is easily possible. You just need to be very careful.

I (somewhat) enjoyed it

I've seen these kind of games before, so I was a little bored with the game. Maybe spice it up a bit. Add distractions! Make it deceptive! Anything that will make the game harder will help.

1/5, it will need to be harder

mikeedla responds:

not a bad idea, I'll think about some ideas.

I'll need this in the future(and now, too.)

Great idea! Some things that didn't work out for me was the level 60 icon. Your Flash had trouble loading one. Also, you can be level 6, but right in the middle of getting to level 7, so the calculator will be a little inaccurate. If users could get to type in their numbers, it would be much more precise.

andy70707 responds:

The level 60 icon is a problem with the server, not this flash. Try copying the URL for the level 60 icon into the browser, that won't work either. I suppose I hadn't thought about the EXP thing, although people remember what level they are, not the exact so and this was designed to be easy to use.

Remids me of CoolioDJ.

Awesome. My suggestion for the third is to have both games share space. The pong ball would go though the bricks and the breakout ball disregards the pong paddles. Anyway, it was fun and addicting.

Ab9003 responds:

Hmm, I was thinking of maybe having Pong-Pong and Break-Break where you'd play only one of the games in two different screens for the next one. I'll think about what you said though, thanks!

Good idea

That was pretty good. the only thing I would worry about is the background. It can distract people, so making the puzzle fullscreen will help. In adition, maybe a move counter, music, or a time limit for each level.

Is a semi-naked woman needed?

It was good, but I don't see the point of a near-nude woman on the side.

Soulbeer responds:

It would be boring without her ^_^

Could be vizz on Audio Port

That was cool. Maybe add some beat detection, and it could be a nice vizz for the Audio Portal. Maybe a screensaver like this. My suggestion though: to make it more of a game type, why don't you add like a fireworks editor for people who want to make their own sparks?

3/5

PS: Ask someone on Staff about whether or not it's a game. It's like in between movie and game. (Mame?)

Almost impossible to concentrate!

The wiry background and the viruses(or virii?) are almost impossible to see! It'll be better if maybe the game had a little more contrast. And next time, you may need the help of another deviant to make it better. Have you heard of ssjskipp? He's also a good Flash artists. His specialty: making experimental game engines. He might help. I've tried his engines. They're good.

0/5, this will need work
